Where magazine out of Calgary recently discovered a hidden gem in Cochrane’s Just Imajan Art Gallery & Studio, located at 3-320 1st Street West and owned by local artist, Janet Armstrong.

The magazine was impressed to find that the store has all styles and sizes of original paintings to meet any type of budget, the opportunity for shoppers to take artwork home for a night before deciding whether or not it’s a fit for their home, plenty of items for the antique lover — including neon signs, stained glass windows, painted chairs, a Coke machine, a penny scale and rocking horses, among other things and an extensive display of Jan’s Collectibles.

Freshly popped popcorn is available, kids are welcome and even friendly dogs can come in from the cold to check things out.
