The Cochrane Jaguars U-17 girls and U-18 girls and boys squads were busy over the May 13 weekend at the Volleyball Canada Canadian Open in Abbostford, B.C.

In their second day, the team won two out of three matches to advance to the semifinals against Manitoba’s Blue Fire. Playing their eighth match in three days, the team came up short against the Fire to end the tournament.

The U-18 boys finished the open third in their tier while the U-18 girls finished fifth.

Next up in Jaguars play is the Western Canadian Open in Calgary over the May Long weekend, which will see the local U-15 and U-16 girls squads participating.
