Cochrane places second in Earth Hour conservation
Cochrane came in second on FortisAlberta’s top ten list for powering down during Earth Hour.
The March 27 event ran from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Cochrane showed a 7.9 per cent decrease.
The town conserved 1,380 kWh, which could power 1,500 homes for one hour. It’s the first year Fortis has measured Earth Hour consumption.
