A group of Cochrane residents are doing everything they can to see that a therapy centre gets included in plans for a new pool.
Called the TLC Warmwater Therapy Pool steering committee, the group made a presentation to council Nov. 23 to let council know just how important the centre would be for not only residents, but for people all over the region.

Dear Editor:
As an established Cochrane designer with 15 years of design experience and six of those years being here in town, I am baffled at the decision to take the business of creating a town brand outside of the town to a Calgary-based firm.
What happened to shop, support local? The person who designed this new logo has no idea what it means to live and work in this community. How can they even begin to convey, with passion, our image?

Planning for an all seasons trail for West Bragg Creek is in the works.
A committee — consisting of trail users, conservation groups and key stakeholders — has gathered input to develop a high quality, all season, sustainable, non-motorized trail system in the West Bragg Creek area with links to the Elbow Valley and Jumping Pound Valley. (more…)
