New fire hall opening

The fire hall on Sunset Ridge should be up and running soon.

While not many details were available, Town spokeswoman Laurie Drukier said she expected the hall to be opened by the middle of October.

Bragg bucks

The Bragg Creek Potable Water Treatment Plant received a boost in funds last spring when the federal and provincial government each invested $1,370,033 towards the project, with the balance being picked up by Rocky View County at approximately $4,110,101. At a Rocky View County Council meeting Sept. 22, Macleod MP Ted Menzies dropped by to make the cheque presentation to municipal district councillors.
