For 30 years, the Men of Vision statue has stood atop Cochrane Ranche, watching over the town as it grew from a tiny agricultural community to one of Canada’s fastest-growing and most dynamic communities. It remains a big attraction, as this couple who snapped some shots on Sept. 26 know. The Town unveiled their new logo Sept. 21, and the Men of Vision remains our defining symbol, although a little different. Mayor Truper McBride and Coun. Brenda Sine discuss what the new brand means for them in a set of columns on page 14. The reaction isn’t all positive though — flip to page 47 for a couple of the letters we received on the topic. What do you think? We’d like to hear from you. E-mail us at letters@cochraneeagle.com or post a comment on our website. (Photo by Patrick Price)
