Even though he only ran 80 of the 160 kilometres, Martin Parnell can say he finished the Lost Souls Race in Lethbridge — sort of.
Parnell starting running at 8 a.m. Sept 12, but the race was halted at 4 p.m. when lightning filled the sky. The dangerous conditions forced organizers to halt the run.
Parnell said he plans to challenge the course again in 2009.
